The Hadley School Committee needs a current voice and a new voice to help make the schools even better. Please consider voting for Linda Dunlavy and Molly Keegan on Tuesday April 12th.

As fellow Hadley taxpayers and registered voters who want to make further improvements to our local school system, we urge you to vote on April 12th.

After having attended Hadley School Committee meetings for the last 12 months, we see an opportunity with the upcoming election on Tuesday April 12th to make some gains on what the School Committee can accomplish for our schools. Two seats on the committee are up for election.

We are endorsing Molly Keegan and incumbent Linda Dunlavy for these two seats for the following reasons:

• We need a school committee that is transparent and open to public input, concerns, and ideas (recently the committee decided to only allow public comment on agenda items to take place at the beginning of the meeting, before any item has even been discussed’Äì making it a bit difficult to bring dynamic public comment and input to the discussion)
• We need a school committee that carries out thorough discussion and asks the questions needed to make informed decisions (if you have watched any previous school committee meetings in the last year ’Äì several committee members (Linda Dunlavy and Robbie Grant excluded) rarely ask even a single question on a given agenda item)
• We need a school committee that brings up issues and carries through with plans that provide for continual improvements and enhancements to the student curriculum and addresses problems current students/parents are experiencing
• We need a school committee that gets more input and communication with the principals and student representatives (currently principals and student representatives do not attend school committee meetings)

Both Molly and Linda will work on the items mentioned above and provide intelligent, balanced, experienced decision-making and financial oversight. They are willing and able to take on the tasks that need to be done.

Your vote is very important and we strongly encourage you to cast that vote on Tuesday April 12. We hope you will consider voting for Molly and Linda to make our schools even better than they are now.
